To reset the 2014 Toyota Avalon's TPMS low pressure warning, park on a flat surface. With a gauge, check each tire is inflated to a PSI of 33. Make appropriate adjustments. With the doors locked and the windows rolled up, turn on the vehicle and depress the TPMS reset button located to the right of the steering wheel low on the driver's information panel. Press until it flashes three times. Let the engine run and idle for 20 minutes while the system records and stores the new PSI of each wheel. The TPMS warning should automatically power off. However, if the light stays illuminated, an OBDII scanner may be needed to clear the TPMS warning, or one of the Avalon's wheel sensors may need replacing.
