If You want to reset the tire pressure sensor on the 2016 GMC Terrain, make sure that You park Your vehicle. Put the parking brake on just in case. Turn the key in Your ignition to OFF. Now, You will be adding air to Your tires to the specified amount set on Your Terrain's placard. If You don't have an air pump, You can find one at a local gas station. At most, the air can cost You around a quarter for a few minutes. After You're done inflating Your tires, drive Your vehicle around 20 miles per hour for 2 minutes or more. When the driving cycle is complete, Your tire pressure sensor should have now been reset.

To reset the tpms on the 2016 gmc terrain make sure the tire pressure is correct, then turn on the vehicle. Now hit the reset button that is to the right of the steering wheel and wait ten minutes. In some cases you may need to hold the button down till the light flashes. If the sensor is not working correctly then you may have tires with incorrect pressure, and the car can get bad performance.
