In order to reset the TPMS on a 2016 Nissan Frontier, the tires need to be inflated 2X XXPSI. Now drive the truck at speeds greater than 16 mph until the light goes out. If the light does not go out this could indicate another issue within the TPMS system. A common problem is the batteries failing inside the sensor which is located in the tire. If this happens the tire has to be unmounted from the rim and the sensor removed and replaced. The new sensor will need to be progRammed to the vehicle in what is called the relearn process. This requires a TPMS reset tool, and You go around the vehicle aiming it at the location of each of the sensors.

To reset the tire pressure monitor or tpms system in your 2016 nissan frontier vehicle, turn the ignition key to the "on" position and depress the tpms button, usually located under the dash, until the tpms light blinks several times. Start your vehicle and let it run for at least 20 minutes and your tpms system should be reset.
