To perform the 2016 Ram 1500 tire pressure sensor reset, watch: https://www.Youtube.com/watch?v=nxPV720eg7s This part will need to be changed eventually. You should change Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or so. You don't want to get into any accidents on the road. Making sure Your tires are in the best condition is key to not crashing. You will come into problems with this part at some time or another. Check for holes, in case You run over something sharp. The part might become loose at some point. Premature tire wear is something to be on the lookout for. You might run into feathering issues. You could face cupping problems. Make sure to inspect the tire pressure once a month.

To reset the tpms on the 2016 ram 1500 make sure the tire pressure is correct, then turn on the vehicle. Now hit the reset button that is to the right of the steering wheel and wait ten minutes. In some cases you may need to hold the button down till the light flashes. If the sensor is not working correctly then you may have tires with incorrect pressure, and the car can get bad performance.

I have a 2016 Ram 1500 eco diesel. I bought a set of wheels from a 2018 ram laramie. My truck wasn’t reading the tpms from the new set of wheels. I run the truck for about 2 years and no luck. I had bought the OBDMX+ and the ALFA OBD, for other issues on my truck. Well searching through the Alfaobd, I was able to figure it out and finally programmed the tires sensor to my truck. 1st. Connect the OBDMX to the ALFAOBD. 2nd. Ram 1500 ( in my case) 3rd. Radio Frequency Hub 4rd. Radio Frequency Hub, my 2013+ PowerNet. (In my case) 5th. Connect 6th. Check engine ( logo on the bottom of the app) 7th. Read all faults 8th. Clear all faults After all this steps my truck is reading all four tire sensors. Hopefully this Information will help you.
