Solid truck, but overpriced and lacking basic truck necessities.
In a world where many brands of trucks are being turned into overpriced luxury vehicles, I have been very happy with the durability and rugged nature of my ram 1500. I do think they are quite overpriced, and I would never buy one brand new again. I had to spend an additional $4k to get the truck to its best for off-road use and optimal appearance.

Great truck for everything.
The best truck I have ever had and I have my share of trucks. It runs like a bear and give many miles per gallon of gas. It rides like a car but will haul just about everything. I would tell my friends to buy one. I got it used but it acts like new.Can't say enough good about it.

Powerful spacious and comfortable.
All around the truck is ideal for me and my family the truck has impressed me with fuel economy and power to pull the truck itself has good 4wd system and the cabin is spacious can fit 6 adults comfortably. Great truck, extremely reliable.
This vehicle is very spacious and has an abundance of storage room, it has been reliable and I have had no issues with it. The only problem that I have run into with this truck is the price of getting new tires. There is no inexpensive option when you are in a pinch.

Great truck love all the features.
The truck has a great back up camera, park assists, tow package, heated seats and steering wheel, large back seat. The bed is great would advise a bed liner to protect. Gets 17-20 miles per gallon, ecoboost. The tires are little spending if you go cheap you will buy more than 1 pair a year.

My personal opinion on a 2016 ram 1500 with a 5.7 hemi and an 8 speed.
My truck has plenty of power and shifts so smooth that you cant even feel it shifting. I will definitely buy another my truck has plenty room in the back seat. Although I wish I had the 6 and a half foot bed and not the 5 foot bed. Other than that it's the perfect truck.

This is overall a fantastic truck.
The biggest two problems I have had are the backup camera will stop working for no reason, then start again. There is also water leaking into the cab roof from somewhere; we haven't been able to isolate it. Because of the expense involved, we also haven't had the camera/electrical system checked.

My truck is great and I love it.
I don't have any problems with my vehicle. The truck is great and I love everything about it. But it does need bucket seats in the back but other than that it's fine. It's very reliable and it fits my whole family and then some. The back isn't very comfy because of the seats but its comfy other than that.

This truck is unstoppable.
The ram truck is very reliable. I have had no issues with it. I do not like that most trucks come standard with goodyear wrangler tires. They wear out extremely fast. Your lucky to get 25-30k on them. The truck is very comfortable. Has outstanding towing capacity as I pulled a travel trailer weighing well over 9,000 lbs across the country with no problem. The cd player is located in an area that makes it unusable, but with bluetooth and xm radio it is really not needed.

It is a ram truck that is built for durability.
It works great never had problems with it. And it is really comfortable and affordable. It is good for hauling things like trailers boats and other stuff. The car is good for off roading and just a really fun car to drive. It gets pretty good gas mileage. And has a nice tablet screen to control stuff.

Ram 1500 winter season performance.
I really enjoy driving a ram. There is something special about having a pick up truck especially in the northeast. The truck drives very smoothly and makes me feel safe in the vehicle. I have driven it in the snow and can say the performance is excellent. I have had the truck for two years now and am glad I have it.

2016 ram 1500 is amazing in every way.
I have never had any issues with this truck. Even with lifting it is always been a great truck to have! I love have it has a steady drive to it, never had issue with the brakes or engine. Very easy to modify and add a new look to it! Paint on these trucks is great never had an issue with chips from rocks or anything.

I love my ram 1500 quad cab truck with the hemi engine.
I have had my ram along time and have had no problems other than routine maintenance, the performance is great, good gas mileage for a hemi. Comfort is good ride is smooth to be a 4x4. Overall the ram 1500 4x4 with the hemi engine has been the best truck that I have owned since I was old enough to buy my first truck.

Performance of the Laramie ram.
I love the performance of the truck. I can tow most things I want. Atv's on trailer and my boat long distances. The technology made a monumental leap in the next year model and that is the only reason I wish I had a newer model. The interior on the Laramie is a comfortable, but durable heated leather.

Knob gear shifter is a big negative and they do not hold value.
It's an ok truck. They lose value fast. I am a year into mine and I already have $6000 negative equity. I am not a fan of the knob gear shifter. I have grabbed at it a few times trying to turn the radio down. A Lot of things in the truck are cheaply made.

The best vehicle that I have ever owned.
I have had no problems out of my vehicle so far. This truck is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. The ride is smooth and the towing is great for what I need it for. The interior works well the only shortcoming is I wish that I had leather because I do landscaping so the cloth seats do absorb the odor.

Lots of power
Bought a 2016 ram crew cab big horn 1500 in Feb 2019 with 28000miles on it.lots of power to pull atvs on a trailer. The ride is very nice and it has lots of room. Five months owned this ram and now at 33000miles there is an exhaust manifold leak on the passenger side. Not happy about it. I hear this is a common thing with the rams. It's still under warranty but wonder what it will cost when it happens to the other side out of warranty .

Full package, travel comfortably, haul what you need, and still have power.
The dodge ram is a very reliable truck. With the 4 doors and front row bench seat, 6 people are seated comfortably. The short bed is just right for odd jobs and short family trips. The 5.7l hemi is more power than needed but it gives to the feel of power a truck should.

Ram EcoDiesel will not let you down.
I have the ram 1500 EcoDiesel and wouldn't trade it for anything. I can fill it up and go over 700 miles on a tank of fuel. It is very comfortable and roomy. I really like how the back seats fold to make a flat surface for carrying things in the cab.

Experience with the 2016 ram.
The truck is almost perfect. However the space for the rear area is too short. Some electrical issues but it was fixed at the dealership in almost no time. Great experience so far. Great towing capacity and great control on the road and off road. A/c vent has an annoying sound.

Dodge ram sport, good truck.
Too many recalls have been the only problems; however, every other aspect has been great. Truck performs well with strong motor and good gas mileage. Interior is nicely designed and enjoy the features it has. The touch screen is nice and the dial to change gears adds a little flair. Seats are comfortable and has plenty of room for passengers.

It is strong and able to pull me and my family anywhere we want to go.
I have 16 ram 1500 that I bought so I could pull my travel trailer with. This is the second full summer I have had the truck and it has done everything I can ask of it and more. Living in a rural area makes having a truck essential, and my ram has lived up to everything it needs to.

Love how it handles in rough weather. It incredibly spacious and has amazing amenities. It also is incredibly functional. The only real issue is it gets bad gas mileage if you have the v8 hemi.
It is reliable, well equipped, sharp looking, handles great, just be mindful about the gas mileage.

I have a Ram Rebel and I love how different it is from all other vehicles. There is plenty of room in the cab as well as the bed. I love the engine in this vehicle and can really move when I need it to.

Change the turn dial shifter.
My vehicle has zero problems, the performance is amazing the seats are mildly comfortable and the only feature I don't like is the turn dial shifter, it makes it difficult to drive due to the radio being right next to it, you don't know if you're going to turn the station or go backwards down the lane.

It's fast'5.7 hemi engine. It's able to pull a trailer without a problem.
Great vehicle, runs great and helping for moving items. No complaints about the vehicle. My husband and I have travelled (twice) from NYC to Nevada. It drives fast because it has a 5.7 liter hemi engine. Alpine surround sound stereo system with a sunroof. It has the ability to add more upgrades but we also have installed the two work boxes on each side which accommodates a great amount of storage.

The fuel economy is more like 15 with city driving. Having a seat cover is a lot nicer.
I love the roomieness and power in the truck. My biggest negative to the truck is the seat can get uncomfortable after a while, and isn't as fuel efficient as i was expecting.

I bought my truck from my place of work, enterprise.
Not a big fan of the knob shifter as far as shifting gears. The seats are fairly comfortable and it is a reliable truck. Sometimes in extreme heat the truck would have difficulty starting. Aside from that it performs as expected in terms of pulling power for a V8 and it pulls my boat just fine.

Great, reliable 4 wheel drive truck.
Very reliable as far as running. Back up camera shorts out often, and the seals around the top brake light have failed, allowing water to leak into the truck. Other than those two things, the truck is faithful. It has remote start, and has never failed to start or get me where I need to go.

Dodge ram 1500, great vehicle to drive and ride in.
The truck has been great no issues at this time. It is very comfortable to drive and ride in. Love the heated seats and steering wheel. It has all the towing options included and pulls well. 2016 ram 1500 is a steal in a market of over-prices full-size pickup trucks.
My 2016 ram 1500 big horn is well worth the money spent. Whether you have a tight budget or money to let go, ram does a great job making their full-size pickup affordable and worth every penny. They are very easy to work on under the hood as well as cosmetically. The downside is one that comes with every truck: maintenance can be expensive. Replacing tires typically costs double the price of a sedan. Fluid tanks are bigger so you can expect to pay more on routine fluid changes. Most trucks do not have the greatest fuel efficiency, but ram 1500s generally travel 16-23 mpg. However, the ram 1500 EcoDiesel travels at 23-32 mpg, giving it the best fuel-efficiency in its class. Overall, it is a very reliable truck worth whatever money you decide to put toward it.

My truck is super comfortable to drive and rides super smooth. I have 35” tires and it really does not affect my gas mileage. Rams are one of the most reliable and comfortable trucks in my opinion. Performance wise with only and aftermarket exhaust and cherry bombs I can spin tires launching from a stop sign.

Amazing for the small-time or big-time farmer.
I recently switched from a jeep patriot. This truck is great for my small-time at home farm, and is already my favorite vehicle ever. The bed is very useful. The 4wd in low makes this a monster, no road is too rural now. I love the seating, especially the 3 cup holder design and the bench seat. Makes it easy to get around with a lot of people, or even your dog.

Known issues with ram 1500 5.7 hemi.
Mpg flaps behind grill are know to go bad but there's no recall so they won't fix it. The 5.7 is know for the lifters going back and blowing your motor have to use mopar oil, they don't tell you that and they don't always put that oil in there. I wish those two options were fixed and covered up to 100k.

What's bad about the ram 1500.
I have had no real problems with the truck do not like the fact that they charge an exorbitant amount of money yearly for uconnect and the cost for maps and GPS is really through the roof on price I just use the maps and GPS on my android phone not as convent but gets the job done.

Ram 1550 - a family truck that has room enough to sit 5 comfortably.
It is a great vehicle to use on a day to day basis. It has a roomy interior, large cab, and there is enough space to transport furniture in the bed of the truck. You sit up high, you can see the road easily and it is a very comfortable car to drive. Best decision I have made when buying a vehicle.

This truck has been very reliable, great gas mileage and towing capability. Back seat is roomy enough 3 kids. Nice riding vehicle with great suspension. Plenty of power and handling capabilities. Comfortable seats, even in the base model it still has plenty of features including digital display for average gas mileage, oil pressure and life left, speedometer and many others.

My vehicle is a 2016 ram but it gets me off road when I need.
I have not had a single problem so far with this vehicle it does decent on gas mileage for the size of the vehicle, I can go out hunting it has the 4 x 4 and extended gas tank which I like I just wish there were more storage options. I like the features it comes with the backup camera the extended cab is nice so I can fit on my family I just wish there might be a bit more ground clearance on it off the bat.

2016 ram 1500 express 2wd is an amazing truck.
The 2016 ram 1500 express 2wd is very roomy and built with quality. Slightly lower gas mileage than expected but still good for a v8 hemi. Offers great power to tow most things even with the 2wd model. I absolutely love the very aggressive look of the truck.

2016 ram 1500 big horn review.
Currently has an exhaust leak, if FCA could produce better quality exhaust manifolds for their 5.7 hemi, it would run better. The cab is comfortable and I love the electronics package for the price point of the big horn trim level. The truck has been very reliable for me otherwise.

I love this truck! I got it from Dave Smith motors in Idaho and 3 month ago. It drives great, but it is a little slow when trying to get up and go. I plan and tuning and deleting it and that will for sure fix the problem. Fuel mileage is decent, but not amazing. The interior is great with all leather seats and touch screen display with backup camera.

Wonderful truck that looks and performs well.
After the recall gas mileage went down. Overall we live the truck and drive primarily. It is extremely comfortable and drives extremely well. We love the chrome on it and it shines well. When we clean and wax it the truck has an absolutely amazing look. The black pearl paint is wonderful and shiny.

I love the ram boxes they are very handy for storing things.
I love my car. The only problem is that it was recalled for cruise control, so that was inconvenient. I love how big the cab is. I have taken it camping and comfortably set up in the truck bed. I have moved across the country multiple times. It is very useful in every setting.

Great sounding truck that is affordable and dependable daily driver.
Very reliable and dependable nice truck. Only has minor issue with backup camera shorting out from time to time but comes back on by itself. Transmission also will stall or shift hard after initially being started but does not have an issue if the truck is warmed up prior to driving.

Overall great truck no major issues.
The only issue I have encountered is the automatic windows will occasionally stop and you manually have to hold down the button. Eventually it will reset and work again. No other issues so far. It has been an overall great truck. Good for traveling long distances. Very smooth ride and lots of room.

2016 ram truck review(bighorn).
We have had no engine problems. The seat belt locks up when going over 65. We have a lift on ours so it makes towing very unreasonable. Overall the comfort is an a+. Reliability.. We have never been stuck on side of road. The radio will have some issues if it is super hot outside. Lots of legroom in back.

My 4 door spacious luxury 4x4 truck that feels like a car
The only thing I would like different with my 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn is the gas mileage if the newer Dodge trucks. It is better than the older ones. I average about 18 mpg. The headrest on the back seat are my only real issue. They are made just so that you can't see out of the back window on each side. It also makes it difficult to clean the glass. The bed cover that comes stock is a piece of junk. It didn't last a full year. The things I like about it are the comfort and the space. The seats are the best ones I've had over the years. The leg room in the back is as much if not more than a 4 door luxury vehicle.

I love how my ram drives; it rides like a car, but I have the height of a truck. I feel completely safe in it. I like how my Rebel has adjusting height. It's very helpful to have it at the lowest height when I need to take my elderly mother to appointments. She's 4'11, so she can't get into a regular height truck.
It rides so comfortably that it feels like I'm in a car.

Vehicle overall is a great day to day with updates but not over the top packages.
The door lock goes in and out. It has powered reclining seats and touch audio. Steering wheel controls. Very spacious. The back seats flip up and have fold out racks that make the back flat for easy storage on long road trips. Decent fuel economy. Definitely has lots of power to get up and go when needed.

I love my dodge ram. It make me feel safe and comfortable. The interiors are nice and luxurious, the back seats are comfortable too. It is big but it drives smooth, and with the 4 wheels drive I can go everywhere, mountain roads or desert.. I do the routine work and I never had a problem.

Not many problems yet. I have 70,000 miles on it. The only issue I've had is with the knob shifter which has been recalled and fixed. I've very happy with everything else on the vehicle. It handles great in the rain, snow and off roading. I've never gotten stuck.

The best part is the power the motor has and the great acceleration it has.
It's pretty basic but runs and drives great. Extremely reliable. The Bluetooth radio doesn't have the best reception once in a while but I can get past that. The motor has plenty of power and the transmission runs very smoothly. Being a 1500 crew cab it only has the 5.5 ft box which is a little small but it still gets the job done.

It is really good and performs nicely. Gets my family everywhere they need to be and is good. It is very much comfortable on the inside and is nice to relax in when needed. Seats are very nice also. The family really likes it and is good. Looks very nice from the outside also.

I love every detail of my truck from the paint job to the horsepower.
My truck performs great. It handles well in all types of weather. Even for not being a hemi or four wheel drive, it handles well in all terrain. The inside is roomy and comfortable, even for my tall teenagers. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Some improvements needed, to make it a great truck.
Exhaust manifolds have leaked twice and the body dents very easily. Brakes are underwhelming as soon as you put any weight in the bed. DIY oil change is messy. Oil filter needs diverted for oil. My previous 2002 4.7 ram had it. Power window in driver side needs to be reprogrammed often.

I love the stereo options to use a USB aux or Bluetooth.
I love my truck it's very comfortable and has plenty of legroom in the front and back. I am a bigger guy and I have plenty of room. The heated seats and steering wheel are also amazing. It drives very smooth and the 4 wheel drive feature has helped me in some sticky situations.

My truck is a very well built and dependable truck.
There is plenty of room. It drives good. It hauls good. There is a good amount of under seat storage. I have no complaints.

Good power lacking some quality and compared to my 2002 seems cheaper built.
Truck rides well and has plenty of power to pull the full rated trailer weight. I have had both exhaust manifolds leak, radio fail, and window limits had to be reprogrammed. Things I would like improved are the brakes. They are weak even with just a loaded truck.

2016 ram 1500 Lone Star edition with smart technology.
Handles just like a car. Has power but does not accelerate like older models. It is stylish and internet available. Backup camera and sliding glass top. It has running boards. It is black green with sparkles. Has smart technology for oil changes. Love my truck.

Drives like a dream - smooth ride
Absolutely love this truck. Drives like a dream; smooth ride, quick acceleration and plenty of useful features. From the remote start, to the heated seats and the navigation system; love it all. My only issues have been with the screen acting up once in a while, where I have had to shut the truck off and restart it to get the screen to come in properly. This might of happened 3-5 times in the 4 years I have had it, but never was a permanent issue. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

If get a chance to come across one, you buy the ram 1500 Laramie.
Geez, where do I begin, it is loaded with options that I use on a daily basis. The Laramie I bought had sunroof, alpine audio system. I am glad I went with this truck. It was pre owned and was involved in a little fender bender accident, but no damage other than replacing a headlight. Drives smooth, awesome acceleration.

My truck is roomy. Great on gas and has great towing capacity.
I like that my truck is a crew cab and has plenty of room for my family. I dislike the fuel sensor problems the 2016s are having. I like that my truck gets good gas mileage.

Just very well built truck period!
Most comfortable reliable car I have ever had. It is tough better than ford and Chevy and I have owned all three major truck brands. The fuel economy is the best out of any full size truck I have ever seen! It also has a 32 gal fuel tank so less visits to the pump. It also tows better than any other half ton truck on the market that I have personally tried.

The air suspension and the oversized fuel tank are awesome.
I have a 2016 Ram Rebel. I perform routine maintenance when it is required. Other than having Recalls on parts twice, I have had no issues.

Ram trucks, the best value for your money.
The truck has more power than a corvette. The ride is comfortable and quiet. The towing capacity is best in this class. It can seat up to 6 adults comfortably. The shifter knob was first introduced in the ram line. The most dependable and durable truck you could ever own. This truck will last forever.

2016 dodge ram 1500 rebel 4x4.
The ram is very nice inside. It doesn't look cheap inside. I was surprised because I was looking for a dodge charger and they look very cheap inside. The seats on the ram are two tone leather and the dash is leather as well. I was very happy to see the leather dash because on some of my older vehicles the sun cracks the plastic and I do not see that happening on this dash. It has some cool features such as raising and lowering the height of the truck. This is helpful if you have a husband that ran over a tree stump and tore off the step-side. So now we do not have the step-sides on and it is not difficult to get off and on the truck.

Great for hauling and bad weather.
Not any problems with vehicle, mainly used for hauling and snow travel. Truck goes great in the snow, never really need to use 4 wheel drive unless snow gets pretty deep. We are looking to trade for a better ram model only due to we weren't sure if we'd like it, seats are not very comfortable in this model for long trips. Also does get good gas mileage and we installed oversized tires.

The trucks do not hold their value due to cheaper leases.
The gear shift ratio can cause rough shifts when coming to a stop causing truck to jerk a bit. Overall beautiful truck.

Its black on grey 4 wheel drive and is jacked up. Looks good.
It is a smooth ride and drive. Very comfortable to drive. Handles exceptional well for a big truck. Has tons of extras. All around a great vehicle. Looks sleek and has plenty of power to do what I need. Only complaint is it is a diesel engine so it takes a little bit to warm up before you can take off.

Multiple Electrical/Mechanical problems.
I purchased my 2016 Ram Sport V8 new off dealer in Wentzville Mo. At 20k miles the truck developed major vibrations at 80mph. Ram sales/service dealer in Lexington Ky required purchasing four new tires before they would look at vibration issue (my tire were still tread gage green). After multiple times to the shop, I was informed that i must have hit a pothole because the rear driver side wheel (rim) was "out of round" (not covered by warranty). At 60k miles electrical issues started happening. Front park sensor intermittently goes on/off, center dome/map lights dimly flicker when pressed and turned on. Rear brake light went out. I receive random "low wiper fluid" warnings at random when it's completely full. All of that has been going on for about the past year.....The latest issue is a drained battery four times in the past month. Battery checks out as good when tested. I have owned many Dodge/Ram trucks (98 Dakota sport, 3500 V10 8ltr, 2005 1500) and never encountered problems like I've had with this one. When I Ram told me the rear wheel/rim was "out of round" due to hitting a pothole and not a defect or covered under warranty, that told me exactly how tuff and capable this truck is. Apparently, when the company makes references to off-road, work truck, durable and the often heard "Ram Tuff" they all mean something less to than POTHOLE CAPABLE for this make/model. Unfortunately, this will probably be my last Ram truck. I can understand and expect the occasional electrical/mechanical problem if fixed/repaired without hassle. The reason Ram trucks lost my support is... If I believe Ram was correct and the wheel/rim bent due to a pothole then I have to concluded the truck isn't in any way built tuff or durable enough to withstand a pothole.... Or....and this is more likely... I have to believe it was really a defective wheel/rim. Which means that the authorized Ram dealer/service facility who brought in a specialist directly from Ram to determine the vibration issue came up with the pothole story as an excuse to keep from replacing a wheel/rim. This would also mean Dodge/Ram corporation, dealerships, and service departments lack integrity, don't support their trucks, or value me as a customer. Regadless which one somebody believes, the result is the same..... My review is based on my experience and the wheel/rim issue can be verified by the Ram dealer in Lexington KY. All other issues mentioned (electrical) can be verified by Ram. This vehicle and how I've been treated has been a huge disappointment.
