Your 2017 INFINITIQ50 can't read Your mind (yet) and doesn't know that You'll get an oil change when You're d**n well good and ready, thank You very much. It's presenting You with that annoying Oil Maintenance light, and You're sick of it guilt-tripping You... So read on, and we'll get it sorted. First, hit the Start/Stop button, but don't actually start the engine. When You've got the display available, go to Your secondary menu and tap on the Maintenance Note icon. From that menu, select the Maintenance icon. Find the "All Parts" item and select it, and then choose "Select the Maintenance item being serviced". You should be able to now select "Reset" or change the service distance -- whichever tickles Your fancy. After You've made Your choice(s), exit out of the menu, and completely turn the Q50 off. Go ahead and start the engine and confirm the light's turned off now.

Wrong. Go under app garage, maintenance note, all settings are there. Update moved s**t around.
These steps will help you reset the 2017 infiniti q50 oil light indicator, push the start / stop button, but do not start the engine. From the bottom of the window, scroll to the right to access the secondary menu. Choose the maintenance note button. Select the maintenance button from the maintenance notice menu. Select all parts and then choose the repair item to be serviced. Select reset or set the service distance for the maintenance element. Delete the menu and click the start / stop button to shut off the engine. Start the engine to check that the sensor has been reset.
