In most cases, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in Your 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander will reset after You adjust the air pressure in all tires. You'll need to make sure You fill them to the correct pressure listed on the placard in the door jamb. In some cases, You'll be required to drive the vehicle for at least 10 minutes over 30 miles per hour to give the system time to receive a reading from all four sensors. If this doesn't work, You will need to use a properly formatted scan tool. Inflate the tires to the recommended pressure. Ideally, You will use a cold pressure rating, so allow the vehicle time to cool after it's been parked, if possible. You'll need to start with the left front tire and move to each additional tire in a clockwise position around the vehicle. When complete, turn the key in the ignition to ON, but don't start the engine. Connect the tool to the vehicle's OBDII port. This will upload the reading from each sensor directly to the system. Turn off the ignition. Start the vehicle and drive it as mentioned above.

To reset the tpms on the 2018 mitsubishi make sure the tire pressure is correct, then turn on the vehicle. Now hit the reset button that is to the right of the steering wheel and wait ten minutes. In some cases you may need to hold the button down till the light flashes. If the sensor is not working correctly then you may have tires with incorrect pressure, and the car can get bad performance.
