Loving my new outlander phev
I have the phev so it is gas and electric. I have solar and use just electric to go back and forth to work. Very smooth ride and eco friendly. It maneuvers very well on curves and flat ground. Needs a little help yo go up hills. Very spacious and roomy. The front seat is very comfortable. The back seat could be a little more comfortable. I don't like that all doors must be closed so you can lock the car. Overall I love my car.

You get a lot for the money!
It's sporty, economical, with ample room. Has lots of added features such as heated seats, blacked out rims, backup camera, power windows and locks, Cruise control...you get a lot for the money. At the dealership that we bought ours, they offer free oil changes for life, as well as tire rotation.

Love my Mitsubishi outlander sport.
Excellent performance and reliability. Very comfortable and lots of features. Great gas mileage - I love the eco feature.

2018 Mitsubishi outlander.
The 2018 Mitsubishi outlander is a safe and reliable vehicle. It drives smooth. It has touchscreen Bluetooth and can set up GPS through your phone app. The only downside is when it snows the car slides somewhat. My recommendation would get snow tires and everything would be great.

Very efficient, luxurious car.
I like everything about my vehicle. It is very comfortable, good on gas and very roomy. I do not dislike anything about it.

Best car I have ever owned!!
This is one of my favorite vehicles I have ever owned. The performance and gas mileage is excellent. I haven't had one problem with my vehicle. Since day one. The extra larger space in the back is perfect for shopping and my beach days. The radio quality is superb.
accountCircle Katelyn L
The Mitsubishi outlander is one of our lowest-rated compact SUVs.
In a marketplace teeming with high-quality SUVs, there's little reason to consider buying the Mitsubishi outlander. Regardless of whether you value fuel economy, athletic handling, an upscale cabin, or comfortable seating, you can find a competitor that bests the outlander in your preferred area (and probably several others). This crossover finishes near the bottom of our compact SUV rankings for a reason, and shoppers should look elsewhere for their next vehicle.
accountCircle Starr W
My vehicle is an awesome 4 door car with sport drive and a lot of great features.
Only problem I have encountered is you cannot check tire air pressure. I love the two drive options (sports, regular). Lots of room in the trunk. Push to start convenience. Heated seats. Interior red trim. Huge glove compartment to store papers etc. Built in USB ports for phone charging/car play.

Negative Owner Reviews

accountCircle Tracy T
Has a backup camera and digital stereo.
Not happy with multiple issues with the vehicle. The first is the radio that constantly goes in and out. Secondly, the back of the SUV cannot hold groceries securely or anything without things moving around. Lastly, the interior and the exterior are not aesthetically pleasing.

In the 20 years that I have owned a Mitsubishi I have never had any problems with any car I have owned. The dealer keeps up with my regular maintenance.
I have the sport outlander and love it. It's smaller than the regular outlander. Love the size and new apple play. I have no complaints.

Service sucks
Bought the anniversary edition with the diamond elite warranty package first family trip and we got stranded because a pea seized rock went in through my grill and puncture the radiator! We were stranded and my husband had to hitch a ride back to our home and gets his truck and come pick up how the rest of us that was 200km away. Only to be told rudely it wasn’t covered under warranty!! Warranty sucks and so does the vehicle we also have the recall for the rubber on the shocks that they won’t replace only keep putting lubrication on it so every so many km you are back in the garage. I will never recommend or buy from this company again.
accountCircle Craig S
Should have purchased another Hyundai instead of Mitsubishi.
Outlander has few options in our price range. Vehicle feels cheaply made. No built in GPS. Third row seats only for small children.
accountCircle chris N
They located the changer for the 4wd. It is located between the seats.
Needs more cargo space, the button for the 4wd is between the seats and my dog keeps stepping on it. Needs storage space under seat like my dodge had. Have trouble laying back seats down flat when hauling items it gets good gas mileage and I like the style. No place to put change. Good space in the doors.
accountCircle Christine P
No room and wouldn't recommend for family.
There's not enough space for others and the trunk is too small. There's no roof rack or hitch. There is no moonroof.
accountCircle Shiretta G
It is great on gas and it drives extremely well. You can also push it to the max to open up the engine.
It is a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. The color of my car is white. I like that it has 4 wheel drive. The heat system is amazing. I like the fact that it has apple and android car play in it

Review on the outlander sport I would give it a seven out of 10
The SUV is fantastic on gas, however you have to plug in your smartphone in order for the vehicle to access any type of smart phone accessories GPS etc. In this at times is a major pain. The vehicle does not have electrical seats moving up and down or enough options considering it is a 2018 with no electric starter there are basically no perks. It drives very nicely and like I said great on gas very handsome on the outside the interior is cloth it is fairly nice but I definitely would expect more perks on the inside purchasing this vehicle there also have an absolutely no problems with this vehicle at all as far as anything happening to it you must keep regular maintenance other than that it is a fairly inexpensive reliable vehicle.

Not my favorite car ever.
My car has no problems but because of where we live I needed a 4 wheel drive car that is small enough to fit it our garage. I do like that it has a backup camera but I miss not having a cd player. The cae handles real well in the snow and you can switch from two wheel drive to four wheel drive while you are driving.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Rejina C.

There are some blind spots when driving on highway, expensive, tires are hard to find at other stores rather than dealership. It was not that spacious. It only seat five people and it is very uncomfortable when all five are riding for a long period of time.

likeFilled Beverly F.

It handles well & is comfortable. It is a nice looking vehicle. I like the different features. And I love the heated seats! The seat warmer works so much better than my Hyundai Santa Fe. I also really like the people at the dealership where I have it serviced.

likeFilled Ann O.

I like the size of the vehicle, the 3rd row seat option, the 4 wheel drive feature, and the gas mileage. I like the Bluetooth feature and the fact that the radio and cruise control can be set right on the steering wheel.

likeFilled Linda C.

Reliable, good on gas, response well, handles well in rain and snow, maintenance is fairly reasonable, seven seat capacity, has Bluetooth, backup camera, can make and answer phone calls hands free.

likeFilled Darrin G.

Pros are cheap price. Cons are the warranty experience is negative. Also gets good mileage. Fun to drive. Fairly comfortable. Seats 8 in 3 rows. Had issues with tires one month after purchase. Had to buy full set of tires as Mitsubishi blamed us for the tires going bad after just one month.

likeFilled Chris N.

Drives and rides nice. Like the looks of it. 4Wd. Good design. Like the size inside. Seats 7. Like wheels. Like the warranty and service provided by dealerships. Lifetime powertrain warranty. Oil changes and lifetime inspections. Child safety locks.

likeFilled Oscar C.

The car looks good and also runs smoothly. The car is a 7 seater, so it is very roomy for family. The car is also solidly built with nice seats. Engine runs very smooth and quiet and the car has a nice pick. The car is also very good on miles for a car of its size.

likeFilled Natalia H.

It has 3rd route sitting which allows for all the animals. It also has good gas mileage. Roomy.. Everyone fits comfortably. Bright headlights asking with great tire trim. The color is red, which is nice and bright.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Rejina C.

It is good on gas, has a handiness Bluetooth connection when you can answer and talk on phone. It also has two places where you can plug in your phone in order to change it. It's a very smooth drive on highway.

dislikeFilled Beverly F.

I wish the passenger seat was power driven. The heated steering wheel could function better. Sometimes the audiobook on Bluetooth does not automatically start; it starts playing music rather than the book. That may be a function of the Bluetooth rather than a function of the car. The passenger seat is not quite as comfortable as the driver's seat.

dislikeFilled Ann O.

It does not have some of the optional features that I wanted, such as heated seats, automatic starter, hands-free unlock, and power liftgate. I also wish it had power sets and satellite radio. The space in the 3rd row is very limited. Adults and teenagers cannot comfortably fit.

dislikeFilled Linda C.

Restricted passenger space in front seat, not four wheel drive, hard to get seat belts on and when retracted are to hard to reach back in order to bring forward and fasten, spare tire is bolted under car and in the weather.

dislikeFilled Darrin G.

Warranty experience is dreadful. Tires went bad after just one month of ownership. Mitsubishi refused to deal with the issue blaming us for the problem. Had to buy a new set of tires. Battery went after 1 and half years. Did not bother making a warranty claim. Not worth the hassle.

dislikeFilled Chris N.

Needs more storage space in front seat. Need seat to lift up for storage and more compartments to put your phone, change etc. Area in rear is small. Hard to get to back seat. Almost have to climb over seat. Not big enough for adults.

dislikeFilled Oscar C.

There are not any cons and I am very happy with the car. I had a Dodge Grand Caravan prior to owning this car and it was roomier and easier for kids to get in and out of. The seats in the third row are cheaper made and there are is not as much room as I would like in the third row.

dislikeFilled Natalia H.

The a/c does not hit very well in the last row. Unfortunately there are no vents in the back. Carpet is hard to clean. The gas gage is digital and does not always give a strong reading. It also does not being a sunroof.

Is The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander A Good Value?

We paid 21,000 it was a good value and game with a great warranty and the company we purchased from was reputable.

It was advertised at a lot better price than what we paid, so the value of ours is not good. We should have talked them down on the price because now we owe a lot more than what it is blue booked at.

Mine was $18000 used with 32000 miles. I thought it was a good deal for a 4 wheel drive SUV with a 3rd row.
Carrie W.
The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is around $25,000. Although it was slightly steeper than I was willing to pay, I think the cost overall for the car features and its reliability make the cost worth it.
Tiffany L.
$19,000 great value for the price when it comes to 3rd row vehicles. It is a smaller 3rd row but still has plenty of room for adults and kids in it.
Heather N.
The 2018 Mitsubishi cost about nineteen thousand dollars and in is a good value to have with all the extras needed to have a smooth comfortable stress free dive to and from your destination
