If Your key fob is not working in Your Chevy Cobalt, or You got a new one then You will need to progRam it to work with Your car. First You will need to get int the vehicle and close all the doors. Next You should put Your key in the ignition and hold the unlock button on the driver's door. Turn the key inside the ignition twice fast without starting the engine. After that release the unlock button on the driver's door and wait for the locks to lock and unlock. When that happens You will need to hold down the lock and unlock button on Your remote until the doors lock and unlock again.
Does this method work if you have 2 new unprogrammed gobs and none of the original ones?
