In order to remove the blower motor on the 2012 Ford Focus, You'll need to release it from the driver's side, but note that it actually comes out of the passenger's side. First, remove the lower kick panel from underneath the steering wheel. You may need to remove an airbag, if equipped. Remove the gas and brake pedal for access. Then, You'll be able to see the blower motor housing. Depress the plastic retaining tab, and rotate the blower motor assembly to remove it from the housing. To fully remove it, You'll need to now move to the passenger's side, where You'll remove the glove boxAssembly and the lower kick panel. The blower motor should now come free.
