Removing the 2nd row seats in the 2003 Toyota Sequoia is pretty easy, it only requires a little muscle. Go to the rear of the vehicle and open the tailgate, working on the passenger side, seat lift the black lever near the door to lower the back rest down. Next lift up on the inner black handle, beneath the bottom backside of the seat, lifting the seat just enough to clear the locking mechanism. Now pull up on the red handle and pull the seat towards the rear at the same time. You might have to wiggle the seat a little to work it free. The drivers side seat is exactly the same, except the handles are reversed.
