You will need to disconnect the belt, and then unplug the electrical lines going to the clutch. Afterwards, You will have to remove the freon lines, and unbolt the compressor. Now, You can easily replace it with a new compressor. Adding the freon can be quite tricky and this procedure is certainly not recommended for the home mechanics out there. First of all, You will need to evacuate the system, and then jumper the cycling switch. Afterwards, You need to restart Your engine, and let the new compressor pull the freon in from the pressure line. Check for bubbles using the sight gauge and then Youre all set.
