To change the battery on a 2016 Ford F-150 key fob You're first going to need to purchase a CR2032 3v cell battery. These will cost around $10 to $15 for a pair of them. <p. Now fold the physical key outward on the key fob and grab a screwdriver or a pry tool. Turn Your key fob on it's side and You'll see where the key was there will be a small hole on the middle of the side of it. Insert Your tool and apply pressure while holding down on the other side. The key fob should come apart in two pieces and one piece will have the battery section. Remove the old battery and put the new one in. You can now juSTSnap the pieces back together.
