Resetting the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado security system is easy, and takes about 5 to 10 minutes. The first thing You need to do is open the driver's side door, and sit down inside. Next, place Your key in the ignition, and turn it to the on position. Be careful not to actually start the motor when You do this. Now, make sure the illuminated light on the instrument panel has gone out. Wait for about 8 to 10 minutes, then repeat turning the key on and off two more times. Finally, try to start Your engine. The security system should now be reset.
