To reset Your 2008 Chevy Uplander security system turn the key to ON and attempt to start the engine and release the key to the ON position. The SECURITY light will illuminate. Wait 10 minutes until it turns off.Turn the key to OFF for 10 seconds. Turn the key to ON and attempt to start the engine. If it starts and runs, the system has reset. If it doesnt start or run and release the key to the ON position and complete the rest of the steps.The SECURITY light will illuminate. Wait 10 minutes until it turns off. Turn the key to OFF and wait 10 seconds.Turn the key to ON and attempt to start the engine and release the key to the ON position. The SECURITY light will illuminate. Wait 10 minutes until it turns off. Turn the key to OFF and wait 10 seconds. Start the engine.

To shut off the security system in your 2008 chevy uplander, unlock your vehicle's door by inserting the key in your driver's door and then turn on the car with your key in the ignition.

I have a 2005uplander that has a new lock cylinder and key it’s been starting for some time now but my driver door broke and in the process some how I got a pad lock showing on my dashboard and it want start now how do I fix it
