If You are looking to reset the anti-theft system on the 2013 Chevy Malibu then You will need to have the key on You. There is no way to turn it off, but You can reset it. Insert the key to the on position and turn the motor over. You will not be able to start it, but it will crank. Once it does that leave the key in the ignition for 10 min. The alarm light will then blink. Once it blinks take the key out and turn the ignition off, now wait for 2 more minutes. Start the car. It should come on now and it will work like normal s the alarm is rest. If it does not then You did not wait long enough.
