To rest the oil life indicator in the 2019 Honda CR-V You will first need to turn the vehicle on so it has power. Once You get it started up You need to locate the "trip" button on the right hand side of the instrument panel. Hold down the "trip" button until it starts flashing and then let go. Wait 3 seconds and then press down on the button again for about 10 seconds. The oil life indicator should now be reset to 0. If You take Your vehicle in to a Honda dealership for an oil change You should not have to worry about this as they will usually take care of it for You.

You reset you 2019 honda crv oil light by hitting the select knob till oil life displays, then you need to hold the knob for about 10 seconds and then select the reset option on the menu.

I have tried to do this several times and I cannot get the oil % indicator to turn off. The trip button does not flash.
