If You want to reboot the security system to the 2003 GMC Envoy, You can insert the ignition key and turn it to the on-site, and then try to start the engine (crank over), the engine will not run. With the key still in the run-off spot, wait 10 minutes, and the safety light will blink and then go out. Often this can be triggered by replacing the battery or by draining the battery from the power supply. This may also be triggered by the pass lock sensor being unreliable, which would cause the anti-system to go off and prevent the car from running. To reset the 2003 gmc envoy security system you will need to put the vehicle in the on position with the engine off and leave the key there for 10 minutes.

Take ignition key and lock and unlock the driver's door and that will reset the security system
