In order to do a soft reset for the radio on a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee You're first going to need to give the vehicle power and then turn on the radio. Now press down the volume and the tuning knobs for 10 seconds. After the 10 seconds are up the radio should flash and then come back online. It should now be working as usual. If this didn't work then it's possible You have an electrical issue that is effecting Your radio. If the radio did not have any power and You couldn't turn it on then it's more likely that it's a fuse issue.
