The immobilizer system in the 2010 Mazda Mazda3 prevents the engine from being started with anything other than a key that it recognizes. If the system has been activated accidently or there is a glitch, You will need to reset it Yourself to start the vehicle again. To do this, turn the key in the ignition to attempt to start the engine. It won't start, so allow the key to fall back into the ON position. Leave it there for 10 seconds, and then turn the key to off. After another 10 seconds, try starting the vehicle. If this doesn't work, try repeating those steps three times in a row, minus the starting the engine part. So, turn it to ON and OFF witH10 second intervals between each action. If You're still having problems, it will need to be reset at the dealership.

To reset the immobilizer on the 2010 mazda 3 you need to turn the key to the on position for 10 seconds, then the off or lock position for 10 seconds. Repeat this, then turn the vehicle on and it will be reset.

Cheap way is to get a flatbed to come out put it on a 45 degree angle then have then jump up there and it will start. People don't believe me but I swear they can't tell you it works but some will especially when you hire it to go no were they will get regret your doing and do it if they know it's your car.
