You can reset the oil light on the 2013 Ford F-150 in the settings menu. Navigate to "Vehicle". Here You will find "Oil Life Reset". Press and hold the OK button after which the reset will take place. The oil and oil filter should be replaced every 10,000 miles or once a year. If You're driving under more severe conditions, it is recommended that You change them every 3,000 to 7,500 miles. The required engine oil viscosity is SAE 5W-30 using full synthetic oil. The oil filter spin-on canister has a thread size of M22 X1.50. When filling the oil tank, the total capacity including the filter iS6.0 quarts. Replacing the filter will require a 15mm wrench. Be sure to check that the gasket from the old filter is also removed before installing the new filter.
