In order to reset the door code on the You'll first need to enter Your master code on to the keypad. If You don't have access to it You'll need to check Your owner's manual or the fuse box. Once You have Your code entered You'll want to press 1 on the keypad. You will hear a beep coming from the vehicle. This will be a confirmation that the change has occurred. If You now press one again You'll see that You have the ability to unlock and lock the doors. Another possible way is to use a scanner tool thought not many people are going to have access to one.

To reset the door code in a ford escape, please do the following. Press and release the 1*2 key. You must press this key within five seconds of entering the factory-set code. After that, you may now enter a new personal five-digit code, firmly pressing the keys to set the code.
