To reset the radio in a 2016 Nissan Maxima, start by turning the power off to the radio. Next press and hold the Home/Menu button on the radio and at the same time rotate the volume knob back and forth a couple times. The infotainment display will show the System Diagnostic Menu, push the back arrow at the top left corner of the screen. This will restore the radio to the factory settings and deletes all saved data, such as radio presets. If Your radio keeps resetting itself, this may only be a temporary fix to Your problem.
