How do i reset the 2017 BMW X1 brake pad?

To reset the brake pad service warning light on the 2017 BMW X1 first turn on the ignition being sure not to start the engine. If using the START/STOP button, press it without touching the brake pedal. On the left steering column stalk press the computer button labeled "BC" until the time is shown on the display. Press and hold the ODO reset button on the left. You will see a yellow triangle with an exclamation point. Keep the button pressed until a different symbol shows. Use the arrow buttons on the stalk to jump through the menu until either the front or rear parking brake symbol is shown. Press the BC button upon which the display screen will show RESET. Press the button again to let the reset proceSSRun its course.
