The car is great in the sense it drives like a sedan but has the comfort of an SUV. For a luxury vehicle I do think it lacks technology features that a luxury car should have. Car devalues quickly which to me was a big red flag, for the money get an x3.

Good but definitely could be better.
I really enjoy my car. Good storage and enough room for y’all people. My only issue is that a 2017 vehicle should be standard equipped with lane departure warning and blind spot monitoring. Most lower level cars have this as a standard offering. Also, the engine is very noisy when the air conditioning is running. Other than that, I really love my car.

Nice car. BMW went cheap on a few things eats could be more comfortable. Drives well. Nice trunk space. Car stereo system is below average. My 2009 Chevy truck has a better factory system. Upgrading a BMW stereo system is not easy. Small speakers. Overall I like it.

Issues with repeated problems and benefits of features.
Brakes need replacing often. Coolant needs adding often. Overall it is comfortable vehicle. Love the seat warmers in winter. Feels like a safe drive. Seems to have more blind spots than other SUVs. - love the heated features. Car is more expensive to fix than anticipated.

BMW: the good and the bad.
It died on me on the highway and it was reading that there was gas in the car but the sensor was defective so there was only 1 gallon. The cup holders are in an odd place and it only has one charging outlet. The drive itself is very smooth and fun.

Smooth ride, expensive upkeep.
High maintenance costs and shuttering upon start up that required computer update. The spark plugs need to be replaced often. However, it is a smooth ride and is very stylish. It has a lot of power for the size and the features even on the base model surpass that of most domestic vehicles.

Sporty chic yet great for everyday life
I love the style of the car. The interior lights make it look like I'm in a limo. It's performance and look is sporty. The car is powerful and picks up speed pretty quickly. I love the moonroof. Sometimes the hands free trunk opener doesn't work. It can get a little tight when three individuals sit in the back seat. The trunk space is great. In the summer my husband and I keep a cooler and two beach chairs in the back and they don't interfere with grocery bags

Great first time luxury SUV.
It is fully loaded. Panoramic roof. Heated seats. Heated steering wheel, back up camera, parking assistance, dual heating, great sound system. Fog lights, led lights, daytime running lights, great trunk space, under carriage space in the trunk. Horrible on gas. Have to refill every week it takes about 340 miles for a full tank. So it is about 14 gallons to fill it up. The screen can be bigger but it can be replaced. The mirrors move and change when your car is in reverse. I wish the mirrors closed in on its own when turning the car off but you have to do it manually. Also the windshield is was wide. Great leg space for a smaller SUV.

A luxury SUV with sports car performance.
I love everything about this vehicle aside from maintenance costs. The performance coupled with the smooth quiet ride suits me nicely and the different drive modes you can put the vehicle in eco, comfort, performance, and traction control provide for a good drive in all weather and traffic conditions.

BMW x1 review. Pros and cons to buy one.
I love. This car. It is a gas saver. Runs very smoothly, comfortable. I love it. Because it has 3 different ways to drive: sport mode, comfort mode, and eco mode. The only thing I do not like is the multimedia system, I think it should be update, it is controlled by a rotary knob, it is distracting. I love the backspace, it is pretty large for an SUV.

Really good quality and not feel flimsy.
I like the quality of the car. That i can depend on it is performance like hugging the tight curves of the road. One thing i do not like is how the turn signals sometimes sticks or it does not stay on and be consistent.

2017 BMW x1 xdrive28i review.
No problems. Purchased vehicle 4 months ago used and has run well since. Features work well, but scrolling through the menu with the dial in the center console takes getting used to. Many luxuries that higher end packages come with are nice and worth upgrading for.

Hologram navigation display is nice feature to keep your eyes on the road.
When you back up after a cold start and it rains there is a loud noise which the x1 are known for other than that I love the heads up navigation that is displayed, sound system, comfortable on a long drive and tech in car is nice. I also like the heated steering wheel, and heated seats.

The best feature for my car is the gas mileage!
Vehicle is great on gas and mileage. Trunk space is great and very spacious, even the back seats lie down flat. The media system is efficient with Bluetooth, CD player, and radio. Another downfall though is that there is only one USB charging port which makes charging multiple phones difficult. The leather seats make cleaning easily, but it is also uncomfortable to sit when too hot out.

Overall, great car! Back seat is not super large, but not a problem if you do not have a lot of people in your family. Comfortable design and has a lot of spunk! Takes turns like a champ! Also great AWD, I have driven in snowy/icy conditions many times and always felt safe.

Small but big enough for four.
I love driving the BMW x1. It is small, but big enough for four people and lots of room in the back. It is very reliable and fun to drive. It has three driving modes so you can make it sportier if you desire. I like the sensors that help me to park and back up camera is very helpful.

The problems are nothing, it's a great car. The overall performance is great too because for me I have 100, 000 miles on it and it has never broke down for me. Its reliability is nice like I said it's never broke down for me. The comfort on the car is great for my edition it's got nice soft leather that will want you to sleep in the car every night.

Great car but needs a reliable spare tire.
The x1 has great gas mileage and is a very comfortable and reliable vehicle. I had yet to have any problems with it. The only issue I have come across is, there is not enough room behind the driver's seat for a rear facing car seat. Also, the run-flat tires are okay until you have a blowout. The x1 has no spare.

You cannot go wrong with a BMW.
I have had my BMW for close to 2 years now and I am still just as in love as I was the first day. With a large sunroof, beautiful leather seats and modern looking controls I only have a few things to complain about. I have had some issues when it comes to tire pressure for a while now and I have been to many different places to get it looked at. The tire pressure light is constantly going off even if tire pressure is good. Other than that, I would 100% recommend a BMW to anyone.

I think it's a cute looking SUV but the functionality is not as good Lexus NX
Small smart screen, glitchy at times- locking and locking is glitchy. Seatbelt alarm goes off when seat belt is on. It drives well on the highway. Like the gas mileage. Feels very small inside: wish it was larger. Seats could be more comfortable. Needs more jacks for phone charging

I like its ability to speed up smoothly when I hit on gas. And it has a seat which never gave me back pain. Also, when I'm driving curves, it is more stable than other cars I've driven.
It might be more expensive, but it has tools that make your driving experience more enjoyable.

I love the size and comfort of my x1. It is sporty yet economical. I get great gas mileage. The heated seats and steering column are among my most favorite features. The tailgate occasionally closes while you are underneath. Or opens when you walk by the rear end.

My 2017 black BMW x1 x28i drive which I have no clue what that means!
N/a thus far. Purchased in Jan-Feb, 2020 & have not driven long distance yet, other than to beach and back (3 hours each way). I will be driving it to Charleston, SC next week. I am anxious to see how it does in inclement weather this winter with snow, ice, sleet, etc.

Great luxury SUV at an affordable price.
The x1 is a great and affordable luxury car. It has all the bells & whistles expected of a high end vehicle with a reasonable price tag. The car handles well and is quite zippy. It has a decent amount of leg & cargo room. The low profile tires are a challenge as the ride isn't as smooth but has more of a sporty feel than a typical SUV. Since it's compact it's easy to park & maneuver.

The X1 gets great gas mileage both around town and on the highway.
I love the gas mileage that the X1 gets even though it has to use premium gasoline. It rides smoothly. I love the capability of synching my phone to be able to talk in the car. It has so many technical accessories that I don't even know how to use them all, but I love it! The sunroof is great too!

BMW x1- self parking capabilities.
Super reliable. I have 2 years left of a full warranty. I have heated seats and a steering wheel and self parking capabilities. I also have GPS and a double moon roof. At night, the lights turn as you turn the car to help with visibility. It has a very smooth drive and very comfortable seats with multiple ways to position it.

Great experience with my x1. . .
The one issues I have experienced is that the a/c get a weird smell, I went to the dealer and they told they cannot fix it as it is related to humidity and it is because we are in fl. The second issue it is been the tires, as the original brand that the vehicle comes with are run flats that are not repairable and I had to change them for one of the same kind but that are repairable as the original ones are very expensive. Other than that, I am very happy with the vehicle. It drives nicely and it is comfortable inside.

When the weather changes I. E gets cold, the tire pressure decreases significantly and needs to have more air put in. It has never happened with previous cars, I have owned. GPS is manual and would have preferred to have a voice controlled device. Drives beautifully. It is a solid car. Good service maintenance by dealer. Feel safe. It is a reliable car. Seats are ergonomically structured and comfortable. Car provides good mileage per gallon including highway performance. Great car for long distance driving. Music system is great. Not an inexpensive car. Perfect for highway driving.

It is very expensive to maintain and you should purchase the extra warranties.
No issues because I added the extra warranties on my car so when there are issues they are covered by the warranty. Without the warranties my car would be to expensive to maintain.

2017 BMW x1 - the affordable BMW.
Exterior looks are great. Nice and clean. Interior is great as well. Heated seats are a plus. Infotainment system is great. Being it is a 2017, it does not have CarPlay which is a bummer. All in all a great car for being what some car enthusiasts consider a lower model BMW.

A car for anyone looking for something reliable.
It runs pretty well. I haven't had to get it serviced as often as I previously had to with my previous vehicle. I have run into specific mishaps such problems with my shifter, but nothing major. After having it for a few years now the performance of the vehicle has held up well from when I first purchased it.

An interesting detail about my car is that I bought it with a sports package.
The car is amazing, but the maintenance is insanely expensive! And since it is of foreign origin, it also takes longer than most to get repaired. I have had to replace the brake pads multiple times. But overall it is a good car, drives smooth, has amazing features, and really performs.

I love this car it has around 230 horsepower. With my experience so far I have not had really any issues. I also love the fact that the headlights are led and make seeing at night a lot easier. It also comes with rain sensing windshield wipers... Although I usually just turn them on.

Solid vehicle, good luxury car for the price.
My x1 is a solid all wheel drive vehicle. It drives like a car, but is very roomy. I do not like that the windshield wipers do not come all of the way up (the hood is in the way); this causes problems if it is snowing and you want to leave your wipers up.

One interesting detail is the excellent gas mileage that comes with it.
I have little to no problems with my vehicle. Like any other car, the tires get lower during the winter, and that is about the only negative. It drives very well on highways and is very practical for all types of living. The size is perfect, so it is very easy to get in parking spots. The sound system is great and it is very easy for others to play music. I have had my car for about 3 years, and nothing has been bad. My favorite part about my car is the wide variety of things that come with its, such as cameras and automatic parallel parking.

I love the drive. Has a beautiful design and looks classy. Decent gas mileage and BMW takes care of all the maintenance. It is a very nice crossover vehicle. Comfortable and the right size for my needs. The one issues is the a/c as it smells bad same times due to humidity and BMW will not paid to have this fix in Florida. Other than that I have no complains, the oil change is included in the cost of the lease.

Economical, reliable, and spunky BMW x1.
It is had a few recalls but other than that she’s been great!! I always love the certified pre owned with the extended warranty. It handles nicely, the turbo engine give it a good get up and go, the gas mileage is great!! 27/32 miles per gallon. Can be a bit tight on space with two car seats but it is doable.

BMW X1 is a step above the competition!
Great vehicle - drives great with very responsive steering. No issues. All features have worked flawlessly. Love my heads up display! Backup camera and heated steering wheel are worth the cost and great features. Car has many sensors to help with parking along with self park feature which has worked flawlessly even with a bike rack on.
