As the owner of an Acura TL, You may have found Yourself needing to reset the srs light illuminated on Your dashboard. This is somewhat easy to do, and will take only 4 to 9 minutes of Your time. The first thing You will need to do is go to the driver's side of Your vehicle, and get inside. Now, turn the ignition to the on position. Make sure You do not accidentally turn the engine itself on. Now, watch the srs light, because it will illuminate for 5 to 10 seconds before going back off again. Disconnect the two wires that are leading to the light, then reconnect them. You can now restart Your vehicle, and the srs light should be fully reset.

To reset the SRS light on the Acura TL you need to turn the key to on, wait for the air bag light to come on. Once it does wait 7 seconds for it to go off then turn the car to off. Now repeat this two more times and it will reset.

From what I understand, that does not always work. If your car was in a small fender bender and your airbag deployed, you have to have your SRS module reset. You would need to remove the center console area and the module is located under the radio, heater and is near the floor board. Once you have removed the SRS module, you would need to either reset it youself or send to a place that resets it for you for a small fee around $25. Hope this helps
