Resetting the anti-theft on Your 2002 Ford Mustang is easy to do. It will only take around 7 to 9 minutes of Your time. The first thing You will need to do is go to the driver's side of Your vehicle, and have a seat inside. Next, turn the ignition to the off position. Now, turn the ignition to the on position, making sure in the process that You do not accidentally start the engine. Hold this position for roughly 5 to 10 seconds, then release. Start Your vehicle, and the anti-theft system should now be reset.

To reset the anti theft on a 2002 ford mustang you need to turn the engine off, place your key that is coded to the car into the ignition, then let it sit in the on position for 4 seconds.
