Resetting the backup camera in Your Ford Edge is extremely easy, and requires no tools. It will only take You about 3 to 6 minutes to do. The firSTStep You will need to take is to go to the rear of Your vehicle. Look in the area above the back windshield, and locate the camera. You should be able to find a button on the camera that is labeled "reset". Now, press down this button and count for 10 to 20 seconds. At this point, the camera should reset, and now be back to its original factory settings.

Where is the reset button located on the backup camera? There are two camera's. One near the license plate and the 2nd above the rear window. Don't see any reset buttons on those camera's?

Locate the reset button on the backup camera and proceed to hold the button down for at least 10 seconds or longer, this will reset the camera back to factory settings.

Yes. Holding the Volume/Power button and forward button same time until screen goes black rebooted my 2021 Ford Edge and back up camera works great now

2021 Edge Titanium. 12” touch screen. Both cameras blurry and go to a screen that said contact dealer. Did a reset on system. Hold down the main power button and the forward button at the same time until the screen goes dark. It will reboot. Afterwards, both cameras worked fine. It reset both the front and rear cameras. Hope this helps.

Thanks all! This worked on my '21 Edge 12" screen. The rear camera was black. A reboot fixed it. I also wasn't sure what the "forward" button was? It's the forward seek button on the dash (not on screen).
It isn't an answer... I just got a 2020 Ford Edge I can see the surround shading around the diagram of the car. I can see thru the back up camera but there are no guidelines at all... I am doing an update because it doesn't look like one has ever been done before. As long as the car is in my garage and WIFI is available do I need to have the car on for the update to work? (Don't judge, I am good at other things just not this)
