First, turn on the Ford Escape and find the display controls on the steering wheel. Use them to navigate to the Settings tab in the cars digital interface. Then, select the Vehicle tab and go down to the Oil Life option. When Youre hovering over the Oil Life button, push and hold down the OK button. Do so until a notification appears on the screen, confirming that the oil change alert has been reset. If the notification says that the reset has been canceled, repeat the process. If nothing happens, consult Your ownership manual and follow the exact procedure outlined there. If that doesnt prove successful, Youll likely need to take the vehicle to a professional to get it diagnosed.

To reset oil change in ford, turn the ignition to run without starting the engine. Then press the setup button until this shows up; oil life x*x% hold reset = new. Then press and hold the reset button for two seconds and release to reset the oil life to 100% and then "oil life set to 100%" is displayed.
