To reset the SYNC system on the Ford Escape You will first want to backup any personal data and/or saved navigation points. Go into the bluetooth settings on Your phone and delete SYNC. On Your car's screen, press the MENU button. Using the down arrow, look for and select SYNC Settings and then Master Reset. You will be shown a confirmation message and then You can select Yes. Once complete You can then pair Your phone to the system again. To do so, be sure Your phone is discoverable. Press the Phone button on the SYNC screen and press Add. Select SYNC on Your phone after which You'll see a SRxDigit PIN on both screens. You may have to manually enter the PIN in Your phone.

To reset a radio in a ford escape is pressing the menu option on the sync screen. Press down until it resets.
