As the owner of a Lexus CT200h, You will see an array of lights appear from time to time on Your dashboard. These usually indicate it is time for routine maintenance, including filter, fluid, and oil changes. Other times, it indicates something is wrong in Your vehicle. Once the issue is resolved, You will likely need to do a reset to get rid of the light. When the maintenance light needs to be reset, the firSTStep You need to take is to sit in Your driver's seat, and look at the stereo display screen. Put Your ignition to the on position, then push down and hold the reset trip odometer option. Now, turn the ignition back on. The display should read 000000 on the odometer, and the maintenance light should go off.

To reset the oil light in a Lexus Ct200h you will Switch the ignition switch to the "On" spot, but do not start the engine If your car has a START push button, press the "Start" button without touching the brake pedal. Briefly click the ODOMETER knob until you see "TRIP A ». Next, press the "OFF" ignition and hold the Reset Trip Odometer button, and turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Continue holding down the Reset Trip Odometer button until the display shows "000000" MILES, and the maintenance light turns off.

This did not reset my maintenance light. I repeated it over and over.

Thank you Brian, worked perfect for me on first try. And what they claim is the “top answer” didn’t work for me. I think you just explained it easier for me, thanks again…
