The first thing You need to do in order to reset the radio in a Nissan Pathfinder is locate the extended storage fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box. Open the glovebox door and You will see the fuse box on the right-hand side behind it. Pull off the cover and set it in the glove box, now look inside the fuse box. On the right-hand side, You will see a white plastic thing, this is the fuse You were looking for. Pull out on it, but don't remove it from the box, You will feel it click when You do it correctly. Now put the key in ignition and turn it to the on position , but do not start the engine. Leave the vehicle sit like this for about 10 minutes and then turn the ignition off and push the extended storage fuse back in. The radio should now be operable.

Took my nissan to dealer, they said it was module that controls the radio, then said the part to fix was around $5000. I will never own a nissan P.O.S again.

In US cars, the fuse box is under the driver’s side. This was helpful when my infotainment system would not start. I recently added an aftermarket module and it has been working fine but today it just killed the radio. This suggestion saved me a few hours of taking apart the infotainment console to check the module. Thanks very much
