How do i reset uconnect 4.3 Dodge Journey?

Perform a soft reset. Put the vehicle into the accessories mode (ACC or RUN). Hold down the phone and the vehicle recognition buttons at the same time for thirty seconds. Let go of the buttons, turn the vehicle off, and open driver's side door for thirty seconds. Close the door and restart the vehicle. Let the media center load up and see if concern is still present. It doesn't work like that

There is a red 10a fuse under the glovebox (#131) (third row from right and second from top) pull it out and if blown replace if not wait a few seconds and replace it . That will reset the bluetooth/phone . This issue can be caused by battery issues.

To reset the UConnect in a 4.3L Dodge Journey press and hold the volume and tune buttons for 10 seconds.

Turn your car to run. Press both volume and tuner buttons simultaneously for 10-20 secs. Then stick your left index finger in your right ear and your right middle finger in your rear. You’ll have a better chance of uconnect working. The system is awful and nothing works to fix it.

This didn't work I need to set this car to my own needs but all I'm getting is the prior owners needs

Is that possible for durango 2012, as i tried several ways butnoresponde at all!!! My uconnect system does not respond or even switch to main screen.

I can't get anything to work on my 2013 journey!! My daughter's friend kept calling on Facebook messenger nonstop and every since my radio is froze on incoming call. I tried the above and it did nothing. I try certain things it turns the audio off but then it won't do anything u can't even use the climate button or nothing!! I'm getting pretty upset it's been about a week. Any help greatly appreciated. Sometimes I can hit the start button fast a few times and it'll work fine most of the time it doesn't do anything!!!!

What if It doesn't reset

I just had another glitch with Bluetooth. Please use Laurelp52 advice as stated above . I have used it for the second time just moments ago.. It does work. It reads weirdly with the door opening suggestion, but it does work. Thanks again Laurel!
