To reset the 2013 Dodge Journey's Uconnect, turn the key in the ignition to the "acc" or "run"' position without firing the vehicle. Hold down phone and vehicle recognition buttons at the same time for at least 30 seconds. Release the buttons and switch the vehicle off. Open the driver's side door for 30 seconds. Afterwards, close the driver's door. Allow the Journey's media screen to load refreshed digital settings. The Journey's Uconnect system should be restored. Other options include disconnecting the battery cables for 15-20 minutes. Re-connect and follow prompts to re-load Uconnect. As a final option try depressing the "volume" and "tune" buttons simultaneously until the screen switches off and becomes black. After a few moments the screen should re-load and restore software settings.
