Turning off the auto reply option in Your Nissan Rogue is easy to do. It will only take between 3 and 6 minutes of Your time. The first thing You will need to do is go to the driver's side of Your vehicle, and get inside. Next, take a look at Your display screen, found in the center of Your dashboard. Click on the settings option. Now, locate the bluetooth menu, and dial through the options until You find "auto reply". You should now have the option to turn it off. This will reset the auto reply option on Your bluetooth, and You should be able to use it as usual.

In your phone go to Bluetooth and click on the gear settings icon for your car that's connected. On there turn off messages. It will fix the problem.

In my 2019 Rogue I had to go to settings, then click on phone, then click text messages, then you see Auto reply listed, at which point you can click it off. Not sure why different people's rogues have different screens and menus.

I have a '17 Rogue and the Bluetooth menu doesn't have the option to turn off auto-replies. Instead, I went on my phone (android) to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Paired Devices and clicked on the settings icon next to my car and turned off Message Access. This turns off auto-replies but it also turns off message previews and notifications while I'm driving. Hope this helps.

I found this on another site and it worked for me. Most solutions will tell you to turn it off in the cars Bluetooth settings but it doesn't save and reverts back on everytime the car is turned off. We tried everything and finally found the fix. 1. Enter phone Bluetooth and Unpair phone. 2. Enter car Bluetooth and re add phone to car BUT .... 3. This is the main point. When pairing hit DENY ACCESS to both text messages and the contacts/ audio on your phone. 4. Once the phone is paired you can go into the My Car Bluetooth settings in phone bluetooth and click them back on but it won't enable the auto reply. 5. Once you click them back on AFTER pairing Your car will still read texts, and make calls. All the things we want MINUS the Im driving auto reply. Good luck, this was finally the fix for me after hours of searching.

To permanently stop it from responding with auto reply, and prevent having to reset it everytime you get in the car, and still have access to text messaging to check it from your steering wheel or radio while driving there is a code that must be entered on the car Bluetooth setting while the car is powered off but radio enabled. It takes about 5 minutes, then it will work as it should without replying automatically unless you choose that option. The code varies by model so look yours up. Hope that helps.

My 2017 Nissan Rogue does the same thing. When I turn off the auto response, it resets after I turn off the car. It is so annoying. I have been trying to turn it off for a year. I even created a new custom message and the message, reset to "I'm Driving" when I turn off the car.

So I had to delete the phone from the car and re-add it for it to stop completely. Once I restarted, most of the other options (text message sound or anything dealing with texts) were gone as well so that let me know that it had been cleared and completed.

To fix mine, I followed these instructions to do a factory reset: -Power off stereo -Hold down 1 button while turning volume knob counter clockwise until the service menu comes up -Select confirmation/adjustment -Select initialize settings. It will power down for a minute then come back up. Doing this will reset clock, preset channels, and all your other settings, so you'll have to reset all those to your liking.

I figure it out. You need to go to your Bluetooth setting on your phone and turn off show notifications.

On Rouge 2018 you have to goto settings, phone, text message and select Auto Reply and you can add your own message reply. Good Luck.

So the best option is to turn off message access in your phone.
