As the driver of a 2011 Tacoma, You may be wondering how You can disable the traction control on Your vehicle. The good news is, it is very easy to do. It should only take about 2 minutes of Your time. The firSTStep You will need to take is to go to the driver's side of Your vehicle, and get inside. Now, take a look at the center dashboard, in the area between the steering wheel and the radio. You should be able to locate a button that is labeled for traction control. Push the button, and Your traction control will shut off. This button most often appears as an image of a car, with two wobbly lines beneath the icon.

In most of your vehicles (like a camry or a tacoma or a forester) there's a button, no matter what brand you're driving, that turns off traction control. Look for the car icon button, and the two squiggly lines below it, and the word "off" below.
