To disable the Speed limit exceeded warning in the Chevy Silverado You can follow these directions here. To set the Speed Warning, press p when Speed Warning is displayed, or press V on the main view to set the speed value. Press w or x to adjust the value. Press V to set the speed. Once the speed is set, this feature can be turned off by pressing V while viewing this page. This will allow the driver to set a speed that they do not want to exceed. When the speed is exceeded a pop-up warning will be displayed and a chime will alert You.

That sis not work. I hit the check to turn it off and I tried setting it to 160mph and it still pops up and I can’t go over 100mph

Begin by hitting the check, scroll down to settings, scroll down to speed warning, set a speed.

There is a new product on the market by Range industries : pulsar LT and it allows you to raise your speed limiter to 140, disable the dfm, disable auto stop, and change different settings for tire and gear ratios. All for 450$ and you don t have to modify your factory ecu. Look into it, best money I’ve spent on my truck so far!
