To turn off the vsc trac warning light in a 2004 rav4 You simply need to hold down the TRAC button while the car is stopped. The TRAC off light will come on to show that it is turned off. Hold it again and it will come back on. That said if You are getting the lights over and over then there is something wrong with the variable speed sensor. This is in charge of many things, but the most important is the detection of a bad connection to the ground. In short, if this is coming on then You need to have the car checked, as it may be unsafe to drive.

For the 2004 Rav4, the TRAC OFF button is under the side window controls, left side of steering wheel. Also use for VSC TRAC light.

To turn off the vsc trac warning light on your 2004 toyota rav4, simply press the vsc button. You may need to turn off traction control if your wheels get stuck in snow or mud.
