The Toyota rav4 is easy to drive, and it is reliable. It is easy to maintain. I have only had to replace the water pump and the brakes once with in the fourteen years I have had the car. The car can be noisy when the cargo is empty. Easy to drive during on snow or ice, and during snow and rain storms.

The space is great and useful.
I like my car a lot. I received it after totaling my first car. The performance is great, there were some problems with the battery, but once we got a new one, there have been no problems since. The car is very spacious, especially nice for transporting big objects like moving and whatnot.

I like the car, just wish it had more features. We got the base model. Also, there is a problem when you put the car in reverse. It makes a noise and shakes the car. Not sure if this is an issue with all models for this year, or I have transmission problems.

It is a great car because it is a small SUV but it drives like a sedan.
I have had very few problems with my rav4 as it is a Toyota, which means it is very reliable. Performance wise, it gets me from place to place but it is not exciting to drive. It takes a bit to accelerate but that may be partly because it is older (14 years old). It is comfortable enough but nothing fancy. Its features include air conditioning, CD player, AUX cord plug in, several cup holders, moveable seats, leather seats, and racks on top of the car.

It has great storage and comfortably fits a family of four as well as shopping.
It has lots of cargo room which is great when shopping with two kids. It is not so large that I feel like I am driving a tank.

I like that the car is higher up with four wheel drive. I am able to see cars better compared to a sedan. I hate that the trunk hidden compartment fills with water constantly making it unusable.
It's first two convertible car seats comfortably and can be used as a family car for 4 people max.

The Toyota RAV4 is not too big and not too small. It's perfect size!

Economic, reliable, jdm, automatic, 28 mpg.
It is got great acceleration and good handling, however it has some problems counter steering at higher speeds and it is brakes are a bit stiff, and it gets great gas mileage. It also has some problems understeering out of very sharp corners and you'll swing your tail out a bit in the turn, but overall it is a reliable car.

This car is reliable and functional, but very much a mom-mobile. It's not stylish, but it will get you from A to B.
Overall, it has been a good car. We got it when I was 16 as a hand-me-down from my grandparents. I am currently 24 and it's still kicking! I have had a transmission issue in the past, but that has been the biggest issue. I also had to get the emissions system serviced recently, but this car is over 10 years old. It is a very reliable car. I wish the backseat was larger, though. It's very cramped if you put more than one person back there. Overall, this has been a good car and I will drive it into the ground.

My rav4 has been a great family car. Low maintenance, good mileage, perfect size and very reliable. I had wanted a rav4 for quite awhile and was so excited when I was finally able to purchase it and it has been a joy to drive. It is roomy inside and has the features I desired like radio/cd/cassette player and a sun roof. Oh yea it is a perfect car. When the time comes when I need to purchase a new vehicle I will definitely be looking at getting a new rav4 or just stay in the Toyota family.

Still runs great with 126k miles as of Jan.2020, never had any serious issues, very comfortable to drive & sit in, titanium silver metallic color looks fairly new with no rust yet. I couldn’t ask for a better car, especially for the money spent. Just love it! I have the 2004 4dr Auto 4WD with Sport Package, Premium Accessory Package, sliding Sun Roof, Alarm system & had a TV/DVD installed in 2004.The dealership has always serviced my car beautifully & for many years tried quite hard to buy it back from me for a good price due it’s uniqueness & condition. The problems I faced with my vehicle
I had a recall on my vehicle a few years ago about a problem with debris in the air bag which meant if it when off could throw shrapnel with the potential to kill. I also have had a lot of issues with my stick shift, with the hydraulics and the gear itself.

My car is great but old. And it's weird cuz it has 2 catalytic converter which seems to cause twice the problems which are expensive. It's really fast off the line though and has served me well and is reliable. Could use a bit bigger such though.

I drive the Toyota Rav4. The year is 2004.
It is so reliable. I have put so many miles on it and have minimum maintenance. I have never had a problem with it, and it hopefully will run for a long time. The interior is good quality and has had many things spilled on it but it always comes out clean. My car is pretty old and I think will eventually break down but as of right now it is still running great. I take it on long road trips often, and never have had any issues.

Toyota rav4 is reliable for years.
The main problem with this car is random parts break down suddenly. It is more than 10 years old, though, so it is understandable that it is not as reliable as it used to be, but it makes it difficult to use. The seats are comfortable and spaced well enough apart from each other, and when there are no issues with parts, the car is reliable and can be driven for miles on end. It has lasted a very long time with only minor repairs, like windshield replacements and a few battery replacements, so it is overall a good car.

I have had my Toyota rav4 for 5 years. It is the vehicle I rely on the most for everyday. It is a small SUV with plenty of space for trips, but also not to large to drive everyday to and from work. It is great on gas. My rav4 is also all wheel drive so it performs well in the snow, when I need it to.

The RAV4 is not fit for driving in the Windy City.
The vehicle is very light, so it can be frustrating to drive under high wind conditions. It handles reasonably well, but is clearly not designed for a petite driver (i.e. 5'4" and under). The electronics can be finicky, too, especially the auxiliary port and tire pressure sensor.

The Vehicle for a modern day Adventure
I love my Rav4, of all the cars I have owned or driven it is by far my favorite. It seats 5 people comfortably and has plenty of room in the trunk for me to store things that I use to go on adventures. It truly is the adventurers vehicle, it drives smooth and is so compact I often feel like I'm driving a go-cart. The only problem I've encountered with my Rav4 is that the car alarm goes off when I open my doors, not every time but about a third of the time. I still haven't found a solution to this problem and it's quite annoying. But, nevertheless, I still love my Rav4 and plan on driving her 'til she dies.

It has cruise control power windows and sunroof, power locks and child safety locks on windows and doors, it has AM/FM radio with CD and tape player. My 2004 Toyota RAV4 is a fairly reliable car with just a few minor problems with it. Sometimes the windows have problems with rolling down and rolling up (mostly rolling back up so I try not to roll it down too much) so my car probably has some electrical problems. Sometimes the key won't turn in the ignition but it doesn't take much to fix it. My car also doesn't drive super well in the rain and is really hard to get started on wet roads and I have to be careful turning on wet roads as well. But other than those minor problems, it functions well and gets pretty good gas mileage so I am overall satisfied with it.

I have some physical handicaps and this car is just right for me .
My car has been very reliable with few problems. I do not use it much and had problems keeping the battery charged but now have a solar Charger which I plug into the cig lighter. The car is the right size for me, to get in and out of and to drive. The only problem is the black interior which is too warm in the summer months and keeping windows free of moisture inside.

I bought my 2004 rav 4 brand new, it had 13 miles on it. This is my 3rd rav 4 I have owned. I will not buy anything else. This car is awesome in the snow here in Massachusetts. My rav4 has always been reliable. The only repairs that have been needed are from normal aging of the car. It is the perfect size for me and my 2 dogs. I do not like to drive large SUVs and although I loved my first car which was a corolla, I love how the rav4 is the perfect in-between.

It has been almost two decades and it's still somehow running.
I like how tall it is and the visibility that gives me. However, it is an old car; the battery often dies if it not used regularly, the AC doesn't work, and a previous owner also installed a security system that used to act up in the winter that made the car relentlessly beep until you repeatedly pressed a button on the fob.

I love my Rav4. It's the 2nd one that I have owned. It is extremely reliable. I have had a problem with the steering though; because there is some play in the steering wheel the Vehicle Stability Control system thinks the car is losing traction and automatically applies the brakes while I am driving. I had the rack & pinion replaced a few years ago and now the problem is back.

My 2004 Toyota Rav4 is the best!
This vehicle has been mine for a couple years now. It has never let me down. The only problems I have experienced with this vehicle have been my own fault. It is an old vehicle, but I like it a lot because of its comfortable interior and easy maneuverability. It has bright headlights, which help me see in the dark. Very reliable vehicle, only thing I've had to fix so far is the sway bars. Drives good, gets good gas mileage. Will be trading in for a new one next year. The only thing I don't like is when you go up a hill with the cruise control on the car speeds up 5 mph more than I have it set for. I would not recommend if you have more than 2 children the back seat will only fit 2 carseats. I love that the seats can either be flipped up for more space or removed completely.

Reliable. Dependable. Lasts a long time.
Love the size (compact) but still SUV. Very dependable. I like the way it looks and has room to transport things. But still about the size of a car and fits in small spots.

My Rav4 is the best car I've ever owned. It has lots of room and is very reliable. Drives great in the snow, which is helpful in Eastern PA. If I could buy a new car, I would buy another Rav4.
Toyotas are so reliable... Excellent quality and they last a long time. I love my car!!

Toyotas will last you a long time, and a Rav4 is a good investment.
I like the height of the crossover and durability of Toyota. I wish the backseat was slightly larger, but overall the size does well for me.

Great gas mileage, cute little truck
I love my truck. It gets great gas mileage, is roomy and small enough that I can find a parking space. The thing I dislike about it are the seats and the seat belts. The seat is uncomfortable and hard to adjust to just the right and comfortable position and the seat belt chokes and smothers you while driving

Very low maintenance. Runs good just keep oil changed every 3000 miles.
I love it. Good gas mileage. Perfect for me. I have had other Toyotas and loved them all have no complaints.
