To turn on the dome light in a Chevy Silverado You will need to use the dial that is to the left of Your steering wheel. There is a selector switch and if You push up to "dome" that will turn the light on. The truck has an on, off, and auto mode. The auto mode will automatically turn the dome light on when Your doors open so that You can see as You get in and out. If Your dome light will not turn off in auto mode then there may be a damaged or broken switch and You will want to make sure to turn it off so that it does not drain Your battery.

To turn on your dome light in your chevy silverado examine the headlight switch to the left of your steering column. Your dome light is controlled by a dial. Push the dome light dial up (you'll hear a slight click) to turn on the dome light.

2024 2500 LTZ Z71 located overhead console, set in off position from factory. Yellow led on switch was on. Hit button, LED went out, lights now come on when open close doors
