As the owner of a Chevrolet Equinox, You may be experiencing an issue with unlocking Your vehicle. This is typically easy to do. If You find that Your key fob is no longer working, You may need to replace the 3 volt battery inside. This will cost You between $2 and $9, on average. If You need to use Your physical key to open the door, press the small button located on the side of Your key fob. This will release the actual key inside, and You can pull it out with ease. Now, You can use the key to unlock the door by inserting it into the driver's side keyhole, and turning once to the right, until You hear the door unlock.

My equinox doesn't have a physical lock/unlock button anywhere on the inside of the car. Only way to lock/unlock doors is with the key fob...
