Owners of the 2012 Chevy Malibu have been able to get their vehicles up to 250,000 miles. The average life span will be in the 160,000 to 200,000 range. These vehicles are pretty reliable. In order to get Your vehicle in to the 200k range You will need to make sure to take it in for regular maintenance. The engine oil will need to be changed out every 7,500 miles and the transmission fluid will need to be changed every 60,000 miles. You should take Your vehicle in a for a tune up every 12 to 18 months. If You have a warranty make sure to make all of Your scheduled appointments.

I bought a 2012 Chevy Malibu even though it had a salvage title and I've had nothing but trouble. I love the way it drives I love the way it looks but there since it was wrecked I shouldn't have bought it. The reason I did because I had a car that got a hit by a semi had bad front end damage and I got it fixed and it was fine ..so beware
