The 2007 Honda Ridgeline has one catalytic converter that is located on the exhaust after the headers from the engine. This will be able to clean out the exhaust fumes from Your engine and make them safe to expel into the environment through the exhaust pipes. If Your catalytic converter is failing You will usually get a check engine light at Your dash. This will usually be caused by an O2 sensor detecting that the exhaust gasses are out of the normal range. Replacing a catalytic converter can get expensive because it does have precious metals inside of it. When You need to replace it I recommend using an original Honda one because they are designed to last the longest.

Wrong, there are 3 one on each side of the engine and one at the beginning of the muffler. Look at the parts manual. There are also multiple O2 censors four in the front two on each side. Dont guess, people rely on your info, if you dont know dont guess.

The 2007 Honda Ridgeline has one three-way catalytic converter. The three-way catalytic converter contains precious metals that serve as catalysts, promoting chemical reactions to convert the exhaust gasses without affecting the metals. The catalytic converter is referred to as a three-way catalyst, since it acts on HC, CO, and NOx. A replacement unit must be an original Honda part or its equivalent.
