A replacement thermostat for a 2008 Ford Focus is going to cost between $15 and $30 in parts costs. You're likely going to need to take this in to a mechanic to have them do the job so the total cost of parts and labor is going to range between $250 and $430. The thermostats are known to fail on this vehicle usually at the 10 to 12 years mark so it's not uncommon to need a replacement. If You're doing this job on Your own You'll need to make sure to get the right one for Your trim level as the different trims have different thermostats.
