The cost of transmission on a Ford Escape has a wide range of prices depending on several things. First of all the year of the car will determine the price to an extent. The question should be.why are Ford Escapes transmissions going bad? Ford needs to step up and fix these transmissions. My 2015 escape tranny just went, $7500 to fix. Car is not worth it

A used / salvage transmission ranges from $800 to $1500, a reconstructed transmission from $1100 to $2800, and a $1300 to $3400 remanufactured transmission. The labor to remove a transmission and replace it ranges from $500 to $1200 for 4 to 10 hours of billed time.
