All models of the 2017 Chevy Traverse came equipped with a 3.6 L V6 engine and there was no option to upgrade to anything else. That engine will have an oil capacity of 5.5 US quarts not including the filter. Having the filter in will bring it up to 6 US quarts. It will need to run on 5W-30 synthetic blend oil. The oil drain plug will have a head size of 13mm and will require 15 ft/lbs of torque to remove it. If You do not have access to power tools You can use a 13mm socket wrench to remove it.
