The 2018 Nissan Titan takeS5.9 quarts of oil. Your oil needs to be replaced eventually. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles is a good rule of thumb. If You don't replace it, there will be issues with the engine. Having high quality oil is key for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into problems with the oil at some point. Bad oil can cause the engine to fail. A normal problem is a nasty burning smell. This needs to be looked into as soon as possible or the car might explode. You could experience terrible gas mileage. Knocking noise may come about from the engine.

The larger of Nissans trucks, the Titan, has many trims that can be made even larger by changing the cab size. The S and the SV can come with a regular cab, a crew cab or a king cab. The Pro-4X has a crew cab or a king cab and the SL and Platinum Reserve only have a crew cab. These cab sizes never change the engine size of the 2018 Nissan Titan from its 5.6 liters. The other thing these Titan variants all have in common is that they use 5.9 quarts of 0w-20 synthetic oil.

I change the oil in my 2018 titan Nissan truck I put 5.9 quarts and it’s showing low on the oil. Is that right?

Never ever use a 20w oil... Bare minimum 0w30 amsoil or 5w30 conventional.

Sorry Adam but these newer engines are built very tight, it's hard for any conventional oil or 30 weight synthetic oil to get between the moving parts, trust me people 0w20 is what you want to use drive rough and drive safe.

The 5.6 or vk56vd from nissan is made to run on 5w30 oil. It is only due to CAFE standards that they changed to 0w20 in 2018. No re engineering of the engine was made to accept 0w20.
