The 2018 Subaru Outback has the option of two different engine sizes between its trims; the 2.5 liter four cylinder and the six cylinder 3.6 liter. Those that come with a 2.5 liter, the 2.5i ,2.5i Limited, 2.5i Premium and 2.5i Touring, are all suggested to use 0W-20 full synthetic motor oil. 5W-30 is the viscosity of oil that is suggested for the other two Outback's, the 3.6R Limited and 3.6R Touring.
