The Nissan Rogue, model year 2009, useS4.8 quarts of oil; this includes if You also change the filter; without that, it'S4 and a half quarts. Nissan recommends using a full synthetic motor oil, with viscosity of 0W-20. If You live in a warmer place, You can up that to A5W-30 without any penalty, and potentially a bit of a better performance showing. The genuine Nissan oil is part number QR25DE. You'll want to change out the oil every 3,000 miles if You disregard the recommendation to use a full synthetic, otherwise, You're coming in for a change every 7,500 miles or 6 months, whichever of those milestones You reach first.

You would be out of your mind to use 0/20 in a 09 Rogue. That is a high mileage engine. I have 386,790 miles on mine . I have run Mobile 1 10/30 since it was new. I have had no oil leaks or, spark plug o ring leaks in it like every other 09 Rogue I Have seen. My 9.6 compression from 09 is Still 9.6 , 13 years later.
