The 2010 Toyota Corolla useS4.4 quarts of oil for the 1.8l engines and 4.0 quarts for the 2.4l engines. It is recommended to use SAE 5w-20 oil although You can also use 0w-20. Oil keeps the internal parts of Your car's engine cool and lubricated and it also keeps the moving parts from grinding against each other thereby reducing wear and damage. The cost of an oil change for Your Corolla is between $40 and $50 for labor and between $70 and $80 for parts. You should get an oil change every 6 months or 5,000 miles. Signs that it is time for an oil change would be if You notice increased engine noise, shaking while idling, excess vehicle exhaust, and of course if You see the Check Engine light come on.

The capacity is 4.4 quarts for the 1.8 liter, if you put 4.4 in you'll overfill it! Only put 4 qts in
